Position Overview

Position Summary

As a Project Producer @ Gearbox you are responsible for working with our team, surpassing our partners expectations (and your own?) by always thinking on your feet, and growing your skills with us as we continue to grow. This position is remote friendly.

Responsibilities

• Managing client communications, project schedules and budgets
• Coordinate the organization of project activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Project planning and resource allocation
• Consult with the client to understand their needs and document functional requirements
• Coordinate all aspects of project delivery, including: defining project scope, specifying deliverables, estimating project timelines, effort and costs, managing project budget, creating schedules, and managing scope change requests
• Manage project change requests and their impact on schedules and budget
• Manage QA and testing processes
• Internal and external project reporting
• Ensuring project success by supporting day to day operations
• Use project management tools, such as ClickUp, Notion, Harvest, and Forecast
• Maintain detailed status and project log reports on each project
• Exercise independent judgement in analysis and problem solving on highly complex problems, challenging guidelines when necessary
• Act as a primary liaison between team members

Skills

• Strong writing, presentation, and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Understanding of development best practices
• Experience in use of modern project management tools like ClickUp, Trello, Asana, Harvest, Forecast, etc.
• Drives best practices within web development processes to ultimately deliver projects to customers successfully
• Ability to work with our team to ensure they are operating efficiently. Eliminate the hurdles they may face and lead the planning process to ensure each team has prioritizes determined in timely fashion
• Exhibits critical thinking, creative problem solving, and willingness to learn new tools for effective client communication
• Provides clear communication with end-users; interpretation and understanding their needs while explaining technical information in business terms
